Nico van der Woude is a communication professional with a broad experience in advising the Dutch water sector. He has over 10 years experience and since 2002 he operates as an independent consultant under the name VDWCONSULT. Water and sanitation, wastewater management and sustainable development are the themes he is concerned with in The Netherlands and internationally. Nico participated in several projects in new EU –member states and countries in Asia and Africa. Mostly, he is working in a multidisciplinary team to ensure communication, public awareness, awareness raising, public participation or stakeholder consultation.
