Janette Worm   Waterplanetearth

Janette (1971) started her career with a scientific focus on (geo) hydrological research. She implemented different water related projects in several countries within and outside Europe. Currently, she has over 15 years experience with policy development, technical research support and management in the field of water management and marine and coastal zone management.
Janette has worked  for the Dutch government and the United Nations in West- and Southern Africa. After her return to the Netherlands she has worked for AIDEnvironment as a senior consultant.

Janette’s broad  experience with scientific research, projects and policy development, has given her a broad perspective on environmental and water related issues.  In 2005 she started her own business  WaterPlanetEarth®;  an international operating consultancy for governments and NGO’s. It is exactly this company name that reflects her vision on the importance and relevance of worldwide communication, partnerships and collaboration in the field of sustainable development. With this company she strives to support and further global objectives and initiatives for sustainable development of oceans, coastal zones and freshwater resources.
