Ebel Smidt is a results oriented team leader, advisor and mediator with a wide water-focussed horizon. He has 28 years’ experience with international aspects of environmental and water resources planning and management. Ebel holds long-term assignments in Egypt, Mozambique, Romania and the Netherlands and is capable of facilitating and evaluating results of processes and projects in complex environments. Currently, he brings together his technical, scientific and managerial experiences in a PhD study on the role of mediation in water resources management. This reflects his vision on contributing to progressive development towards sustainability and improves practical management of environmental resources. He has broad experiences with both the governmental and private sector.
